It has been a while. A little update from my side perhaps could be a good idea. A couple of days back, I joined Chemcup, an annual football competition among research groups at the Department of Chemistry and Pharmacy, WWU Münster. Last year I was on the 3rd team of MEET and we only managed to get 10th place.
This year, I decided to join the 1st team as I wanted to play a bit more seriously (but also fun though). The 1st team, as we call it the performance team, is always reinforced by great players. I enjoyed every single moment there. I thought this would be my last chance joining this competition as I wanted to get my PhD done next year. At the very end, we almost won every single match and we defended our trophy from last year. We won!
I consider this more prestigious than World Cup :p
